    Dude I have seen guys in the states use the garage door bottom rubber to do the same thing..
    Your home depot store would have it. its cheaper anyway... mine was like $35

    what year wrx do you have? like the OP said, they have DIY garage seal lips. (DIY Front Lip - Version II - NASIOC)

    if you have an 04/05, or 06/07 you can get an sti v-limited replica off of ebay for 100 bucks or so

    yeah! in the states the real limited lip is over $400.

    for as much as it's going to get knocked around & scraped, i'd rather spend the 100$ for a really nice durable one (or 35 for the garage door one!)

    Yeah, I've been planning to do the garage door seal diy, but it looks like the one you used actually has a slightly different shaped. If they were available around these parts, I was just going to add them to the list of things to check out prior to committing to the garage door seal.

    If i bought my car brand new I would have the dealer put it on, But its madness to pay so much for it.

    Take the one i put on... my wife says she cant see the difference.

    And if you take into account... (looks aside), the purpose of the lip is to be a bumper/spoiler guard is to warn you against potentially damaging your bumper.

    It does have a different shape but I think if done right the garage door seal would look just as good...
