    pictures of painted stockers

Well, after a week of prep, a weekend of paint, and a good 5 days to cure, my wheels are done. I painted them with Duplicolor high performance wheel coating in flat black. Let me know what you guys think. The car's pretty dirty, but you gotta give me a break, it's 20 degrees out here too cold to wash

Looks cheap, that's my opinion. Which is what you asked for anyways.

IMHO that car would look great with aftermarket silver wheels.

i think the black on black looks good.
nomatter what way you go about getting the effect.

me personally am going to use my stockers for winter tires and get a set of summer wheels and this summer im gonna paint my stockers black like that for a consistant all year look.

    just my $0.02

    Meh.

I'm not big into the black/black look, but it doesn't look awful. Personally, I think the OEM wheels look cheap, and this is an improvement over stock color.

The main thing is you're happy - you spent a little bit of $$ buying paint, and you get to change up the way your car looks. I would, however, as said before, invest in some aftermarket wheels for your summer tires (keep the painted stockers for winter tires)

Yeah, I definitely agree with you guys about keeping these on my winter tires. I wanted to test out this flat black look before I buy a flat black set of summer wheels. Now that I'm happy with the outcome, I'm thinking of a set of Motegi Traklite's in 17's. Thanks for the criticism guys. Happy Holidays
