    You all were talking about how installing a grill into the hood scoop will restrict the air flow and elevate the temp. Therefore I was asking if this would still be the case on my '13 WRX.

    Anything in the way will decrease flow. The 3G intercoolers already suck. It's a cost-benefit ratio.

    I have had a grill craft grill in my hood scoop for years....my car runs fine and it was tuned with the hood down and a fan blowing air into the TMIC through the hood scoop...

    I believe u also have a larger scoop and more efficient tmic. Not saying it won't work on a 3G, just something to think about.
