i know this is a little off topic but i just bought maguiars scratch x it is about 8 bucks for a tube of it and it took off all the surface scratches and also all the swirl marks, great product

Question help??

so i took my badges off the back of my rex and there is still a little outline of the subaru and it seems like it is still a little glue, but i wd40'd it like 5 times and it still dident come off, so i went and bought a cray bar and that dident help either, so then i tried to wax and buff it out and that dident work either, anyone else have this problem or know of a way to get it all off
thanks

Hey, Im goina do this to the back of my 07 hatchback like jma's and i was wondering how hard it really was? how should i do it? Heat up the badge, get the fishin line/floss behind it and just pop it off? should i put wd40 on the floss to help it slip back there? also how do you think it would work on a basically brand new white car? there should be no marks left behind right?

thanks, hope my parents wont mind =P

It takes like 10 minutes. No harder than peeling a sticker off.

Like he said, 06+'s have holes behind the star emblem.

p.s. thats not me

Does anyone know if they sell a stick on Subaru emblem anywhere? I want to remove the Subaru lettering and impreza bar on my 03, and stick a 06+ style emblem on the back.

Ive never been a fan of de-badging. I never got the point. It just looks a little strange to take all the names off. It looks nice when there is at least some kind of brand element left (like the Subaru Star Logo) There is nothing wrong with a logo/branding element.

well on the 06+ u cant really take off the star logo unless u want two holes in ur trunk. but its a way of personalizing a car

nothing wrong with keeping them on, and theres nothing wrong with taking them off. i prefer the debadged look, simply for the stealth factor. ppl still know its a subaru, what kind though is different. could be an RS, could be an outback, could be anything! alright i kid myself. ppl that know what a wrx is will know what a wrx wagon is.

theres ways to fill those holes, but im not sure how costly it is. our group is working on getting something machined to fit into them. ive even seen ppl strategically place stickers right there, instea. to each their own.
