DIY front lip on WRX for $8

Any pics or explanation on how you fastened it? It looks pretty clean. I would think that unless you got real close, you would never know "ghetto" from jdm. If the garage sealer comes from Japan...can we call it "jdm"?

I think that if you had posted this lip without explaining how you did it, some folks would have been asking you where they could order one from.

IMHO, it looks just as good as some of the urethane based lips I've seen for hundreds of dollars. Good job.

I have a Track dog racing air splitter, which is just sitting in my garage. It has pre drilled holes, so I just used it to drill 13 holes on this DYI lip. It's up to you on how you do this. It will require some drilling on your WRX bumper.

Some people are so bent on spending a butt load of money and think that's the only way to get something worthwhile. I actually like this and since my car has been lowered a bit I'm scared of spending $200 on something I'm certain will break or crack...

Me too...where are the underbody pics? I want to see how you got that nice angle and even flow right along with the body line of the lip.

I apologize about the delay... the reason why it came out so perfect is because I used my Dog Track racing air splitter as an aligner to drill holes.

There is nothing impressive about underbody shot...
