Just to confirm, with these parts, I won't need the expansion plugs? Also, does anyone have the part numbers for these?

    Thanks.

Are those the parts that come on 9-2Xs? I'm trading mine away in 2 weeks and need to know if I need to go get the expansion plugs. As you can see from my post on page 3, I've been wanting to do this for a while but am too cheap to buy ones.

Dug up a part number for the bracket:

    91024FA001

    Can anyone confirm?

    Thanks.

The brackets from the 9-2x worked fine on my car. There's actually another one on our cars that isnt used for anything (you dont even have to unbolt it, I did accidently but it doesnt matter).

I used some silicone sealant on the bottoms of the brackets and the bolts so that it would seal.

Plan on breaking a couple of plastic clips pulling the deletes off the 9-2x. I only broke one on my car; when you remove the rails the rear trim piece slides off (forward on one side, backwards on the other), the front pops up and forward to get it off.

When putting the trim pieces back on both cars, its easier to take the black plastic clips off the trim and snap then onto the roof first. Then the entire trim piece snaps on solidly.

Took me working mainly by myself a little over 2 hours to do it this afternoon. I've gotta detail the roof badly, I had 5 years of dirt collected underneath the rails and when I removed them it left all of the dirt where the outline of the rail used to be.

    Edit:
Part number for the clips is 909130022. We broke 3 on the 9-2x and 1 on my car, bring a handful.

so would i be able to do this with just the expansion plugs and some silicone? and buy the mouldings and clips later and put the moulding on without removing all the stuff again?
