    just receive a new lip from rav spec. but very disappointed. extremely poor fitments





    looks like my car is having bad luck this month...

    Man, that sucks bigtime. Oh a better note, I love the wheels. Are they 18" Emotions?

    Just be lucky your bumper isn't cracked or anything worse. Sorry 2 hear about it though.

    I have the same problem with the RavSpec lip... at the exact same place. There is a big gap on the passenger's side. Wait till you start scratching it...

    yea... it's sucks about the fitment.

    rav spec refused to exchange me another one
    i will send my car to body shop on monday to fix the rear damage. i might also ask them to fix the gap on the lip. i will pm you how they fixed the gap as soon as i get back the car.

    need to spend another 50 bucks to have them fix the gap though.

    I actually had my lip installed at a body shop... they needed to trim a corner that was in the way and drilled all the new holes. They said that the gap was not fixable because that is basically the way the lip was made, with the line not straight. He suggested that putting a bolt in that area might reduce the gap, but that meant making a hole in the bumper and it could also possibly crack the fiberglass material... so I just left it. I guess we should remember that this is a replica and replicas have poor fitment in general.

    ...but if you find a way to fix that stupid gap let me know .
