Had one "project car", a 1968 Firebird with all the body work finished, motor rebuilt with a mild cam, i rebuilt the trans, all it needed was most of the interior and some of the wiring. sold it to afford numerous trips to Cali for a family emergency, dont regret it at all.

I've had fun with all the cars, but of course the STI is the best to date.

Copied and pasted from page 43 and added 07 STI info.

86 mustang (wrecked twice, got the piss ran out of it, learned to drive rwd in the snow on, learned how to drive sideways....semi controablaly, learned how to pull and rebuild motor on, learn how to brake rear axle c clip and watch axle pass the car going down a hill, learned how to drive stupid on the beltway with friends in, learned that you wont enjoy all of the above if you have to pay to fix it all, learned that even with a horrible transmission there is always someone looking for a mustang to buy)

95 escort (learned the wonderfulness of 35 mpg and a car that isnt fast enough to get you into trouble)

06 wrx (learned what all the hype was about, learned I hated Subarus 5 speeds, and that 230 hp is plenty of power for a street car, re92's are garbage, and you will get door dings, and most importantly but what you want the first time so you dont lose several dollars in depreciation...this only works if you could have actually afforded the car I wanted to start with)

07 STI (learned what to fast really is for a street car, learned to love the six speed once warmed up, learned that with proper tires it's hard not to look forward to snow, the re-070's have stupid gripping power, and this is what driving a "fun" car really is).
0-60 faster then your first sexual experience.

1987 honda accord - only redeeming quality was that it was a manual. besides that, the only reliable thing was that it broke down once a month

2004 rx-8 cool stuff happened and drove my dad's rx-8 for a year. it was kind of like his extra car and ya know how a teen usually drives his parent's car so regularly that it's pretty much his car. yea, that happened to me

2004 WRX- best car evaaaar. everything was so good. i didn't think of WRX, but test drove a used 02 at a honda dealership when i went there to look at the new civics . never looked back. sadly had to sell cuz going to college which is a bigger priority now.

1997 prelude- its a decent car, but looking foward to selling it in a year when i graduate, then 05 STI all the way

95 Toyota Camry - nothing ever went wrong with that car... ever.

01 Toyota Celica GT - very sporty handling, especially for fwd. Great mpg regardless of how I drove it. Parents wouldn't get the MT or GT-S version so always wanted more out of it. Sister got it when I went to college.

02 Nissan Frontier - won it from the local dealership. Never drove it much b/c I went to school out of state. Sold it to my dad.

04 WRX - bought it new, loved every min of owning it. Didn't survive a run in with a semi trailer during a snow storm. I miss the 7k redline

06 WRX TR - bought it new with the insurance money. Made $7 on the deal. Lowered it, tinted the windows, and put in GPS (I drive a lot). Torque is nice

In a previous post, I posted that I had a '01 VX before my WRX, and I still own it. Recently finished my project on it to keep it up to par with the Rex. Took me a couple weeks of an hour here and there, but here she is.... Blown '01 VehiCROSS featuring an Eaton M62 Supercharger, and oooooooh is it fun!

She will be in the family for quite a while longer now.
