    76 Toyota Corola - $500
    79 Toyota Celica - $2000
    81 Nissan 280Z

    Still have the following:
    96 Nissan King Cab
    99 Chevy Prism
    03 WRX Wagon

From my previous vehicles it is obvious why I am so enamored with the WRX. , though the Z was a fun rustbucket for a while.

    1980 Volvo DL (hand-me-down)

    1990 Jeep Cherokee (lifted 8", 33" Tires, air-lockers)

I really miss my Jeep. Nothing like being able to go almost everywhere.

But now it feels nice to go fast.

Finally I can post in this thread. I picked up my 2003 WRB sedan last night!

Here they are first to last . .

1983 DATSUN Stanza (yes, before they became Nissan!)
1987 Toyota Celica GT (great going into corners, nothing to help you get out!)
1996 Nissan Altima GXE (Man those tires sqwealed alot)
1999 Mazda Protege ES (traded in on my new baby yesterday!)

    Eric

    MODS?
    First mod will be wash/polish/wax

1 5/8 Header with Dual Mufflers
    Valve Cover Breather Kit

It was built by Small Car Specialties in Southern California. When it was new, I was able to get the front wheels off the ground about 1 inch.

This is the car that taught me all of my wrenching skills. I had to work on this car/motor everyday to keep it runnig. I could get this motor out of the car and on the ground in 15 minutes. I had to take it out every month to readjust the valves, since I had to run bolt on valve covers. There was no way else. I also had to tap the valve covers for a breather kit for engine case ventilation. The engine made so much power, it would blow oil out of the dipstick hole.

I blew up 3 transmissions because this motor made so much torque. I ran a best of 15 flat with a broken third gear and a stopwatch.

I still have this motor. I am saving it for either a dune buggy or a Porsche Speedster replica fiberglass kit car.
