    I went looking at an 03 WRX today, and when I popped the hood, I saw this blue metal lid with Perrin's name and logo on it. WTF is this?

    After being told it was indicative of an MBC, I went back to the dealership and went rooting around through the engine bay for it, and found nothing, so yeah, I'm guessing it's just the cover.

    This particular car has 28,800 miles on it, is an 03, and is being sold by Ehrlich Toyota in Greeley, Colorado for $23k.

    yeah...I hear they're not necessary until you start running over 22psi of boost.


    Seriously - I'd check the perrin website. You could probably email them and ask if they can point you in the direction of a dealer who carries them.

    lol, i know they serve no hp gains but i dont want the wires to become damaged? Will it happen if idont get a cover for those wires.
