    Ouch, that hurt.

What tires do you have on there? I cannot tell from the pics if they are winter or all season.

all season. They are the nitto 450's I was supposed to be getting some 17's from a friend for the summer and I was going to get a set of winters but I don't know if I am going to be able to buy those 17's. It all depends on what this is going to cost me. I am not sure if i am going through my insurence yet, that also depends on the cost...

They kind of looked summery in the pic ... all season are not the best in significant snow. How much was on ther road when this happened?

I am taking my chances with the RE92s. 2" to 4" is all I have tried with them so far. I am damn careful when it gets slick as they do not have much wet grip let alone snow grip.

I have a set of summer tires and wheels, so the stock rim / tire setup will have to do until I wear out the RE92s at least a little.

I hope all works out well for you and the WRX.

ok, i did the same thing to my 05 sti, except my steering wheel locked up and i couldnt turn the wheel, and this was in the rain.
Anywho, right wheel, shock, control arm, tie-rod, a few other things, i think it came out to 4000, BUT that was including two wheels for the STi at 700 a piece, and a few other things that were never done. In the end, i think it came out to like 3500 or so including labor at 45 an hour. I wouldnt worry, i couldnt drive mine period.

well that makes me feel a little better than 5000.

Edit: If the strut is no good which it probably isn't I am just going to replace them all. I have a set of tein h-techs that I have not installed yet, so why not just do it all at once.
