    April 03 Sport Compact Car

    Anyone see this yet?

On the cover: AWD Turbos Battle to the Death

Skyline vs. WRX vs. Evo vs. TT

They totalled the Cobb WRX, or it would have 0wned the others

    Skyline categorized as AWD?

Most folks know that it's predominantly RWD til Altesa Pro kicks in, transferring torque to the front wheels.

Still makes an interesting read though.

Did anyone notice the current issue of Autombile mag, very top right corner: "WRX Slayer"

The Evo is out, let the trashing begin

I think I might actually pick this one up though, looks like they have an article on the STi C-spec in it too.

According to the guys here in SLC at the shop, it was the editor of the magazine that totalled the car. I enjoyed how they left that detail out.

On the table of contents, it has a little blub telling that they totaled it while doing a photoshoot, not a test. So I'd believe that it was a SCC guy driving.

    Oopsie.

Do us all a favor: work on learning how to drive your car before adding more power. Pretty please.

They racked a car during a PHOTO SHOOT?

    "Gee, sorry Cobb."

Furthering my suspicion SCC are a bunch of overgrown boys who don't know the first thing about driving...

with the STi coming to US (among other cars), it's VERY interesting to see HOW FAR cars will go in the years to come. 300hp/300ftlbstq is an AWFUL LOT for a STOCK car these days...30 grand or not...

I was just at Barnes & Noble and was reading that very issue of Sport Compact. I love the wide body kit on the Cobb WRX with it's 18x10 wheels

COBB's WRX called the ConeBasher does 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. Read about it here.
