I thought I was doing ok with a few V8s in my history - and two current cars.
Gotta give dues for wanting an E55 in 2005, those things are the bomb.
My parents dont buy me cars anymore - and my WRX cost me a bucket load, as does insurance, but everytime I turn the key, I know its worth it.

Thanks Adam, first thing I notice and what I love about this forum that the members are being cool with new member like myself. You know how in some other boards people like to call me liar or poser just because I have that kind of signature. So far, not a single person here even come close of saying that, which is REALLY COOL.

I actually just picked up my 04 STi a couple days ago after considering of the 05 instead. I love the car so much cause it's really fun driving it.

Can't wait til 1,500 miles later where I can start full throttle.

I'm selling my 03 Harley Davidson F150, which is on eBay at the moment under sd-stallion user ID. If you know anyone who is looking for a limited edition truck in very good condition, please send him my way.

The replacement..... 04 Dodge Ram SRT-10......

What are you ~20 year olds doing to build good credit?
I ask because I will be buying a car soon and want to be prepared. I'm 19 and the only things I have are a bank account and a cell phone under my name since 18. I get rejected for everything due to "lack of credit references." Basically no credit! I finally got around to making a secured credit card to help build my credit.

I currently drive a Civic which is financed under my mother. I was suppoed to get a car for college but I got the car at 16 only because my mom's credit was about to take a major hit due to uncontrollable business problems. So now I'm a 19 yr old college student with roughly $20,000 saved for a new car. I don't really have any kind of real work history since I've made all of my money as a tutor which means no tax deducts and all cash

Now that you guys know my situation, do you think I be able to get myself into a WRX or STI with the ~$20,000 dp and a loan all under my name only? No co-signers for me I haven't bothered talking to loan consultants or asking dealerships yet so I wanted to know what some of your thoughts were.

Im 19, turn 20 end of July, bought the rex last aug 31 2003, and paying for it all buy myself, and insurance, still live with my dad,
And im a Union (IBEW) apprentice Electrician Up here in Fort McMurray AB, and all i can say is Suncor bling...

edit- for the guy who askes how us 20 year olds have good credit to buy a car, i had a cell phone, credit card in my own name since i was 14, and i just bought EVERY thing with my credit card then went to the bank the next day and payed it off, and they kept bumping up my limit higher and higher, so i did that for 5 years, and cell phone is a great credit builder too, if you dont miss a payment.

I see that I am in the miority age group @ 41. After five years of towing my sons racing equipment with a Navigator it was my turn to have some fun. This is one of the lesser cost vehicals I have owened in a while besides I now get twice the gas miles. We only tell mom about the mods after they are done, she thinks its a mid-life issue when in all actuality its about the driving.

hahah, if your wife is gonna blame it on a mid-life issue....then direct her here and we'll get all the 25 and under guys with stage4 wrx's to post up about it.....I hope it's not mid life issue for me, that'd mean I'm only gonna make it to 38
