Either get a WRX, STI, or do suspension work to your current car.

    I have an '06 WRX...

I recently turned 25 and my insurance suppositely will drop ~$500 a year the next time I renew my policy. So before 25 I was paying $3,000 a year, after 25 - $2,500 a year. No accidents, speeding tickets, etc. However, I live in NJ (the most expensive state for auto insurance) plus I live in a densely populated county which raises it significantly as well.

I'm looking at getting a used WRX or STI and my insurance would be $1440 (STI) and $1260 (WRX) a year. I am 40 with a very good driving record.

Damn... the price you have to pay to play!

I pay $3300 a year. 25 yrs old and brand new 07 STi. This state blows in terms of insurance for autos. :boo:

I pay just a tad bit more a year...but my insurance only went up like 40 bucks a year from a wrx and basically anything new I would have bought would put me within 500 dollars of that a year. So I just got what I wanted instead of driving around something I didnt want.
