Actually, MD tends to have high insurance rates mainly due to the high traffic volume, aggressive driving prevalence, and high theft rates.

Of course, NYC has all of these, plus no-fault :-/

Yikes! I have same car with same coverage through Progressive. $52/month I'm 40 with zero tickets/accidents.

Yep thats right, thats exactly why two of my friends both wanted one after seeing mine and had quotes of around 1500-2k every 6mos. The biggest luck is usaa and clean record, both had 1-2 points

I think until roughly around age 30...men get absolutely raped. You are high risk from 16-29 for sure.

At 36 now, with a pretty clean record, mine is cheap enough that I rarely think about it both on my car and motorcycle.

But, in my 20's I hated it.

Sounds about where I was at for my '07 WRX back in 2007. $315/month

I'm almost 29 (August) and am paying around $150/month for my '15 WRX.

Insurance is a topic that makes me :rage:

Just a hint for everyone. The first time I called Progressive to get a quote they came back with a big number. I asked them to rerun my credit (I think they only do this every 3-4 years). Once they did that they came back with half of what the first quote was.

Ask them to rerun your credit.

That seems high. You're only 6 months younger than me and are also married... I pay about $125 a month for 3 cars...

That's with 2 cars? What state are you in?
I'm paying more than people with tickets. Commerce is totally screwing me. I have a clean driving record.
I have cops follow me sometimes because I'm 33 but look like 20. Once they run my plate they stop following. And that only seems to happen in expensive private neighborhood, ( They built them all around my house jacked up house value but also taxes) And also in industrial parks.
