It's amazing how much insurance changes from state to state. My insurance rates went down almost 50% moving from CT to MA and then at least another 25% from MA to NH.

My insurance went up to $118 a month for the 2012 WRX after having paid only $91 for the 05 STI. Probably doesn't help that I had a total loss on the STI for flood damage, so that went under a comprehensive claim. Still not terrible though!

Is Massachusetts just crazy cheap or something? I'm 24 with one very minor accident (3+ years ago) and I pay $71 a month for full coverage.
Looks like it goes to $110 a month if I want my deductibles to be tiny.

    The most despised thread... Insurance?

Everyone hates this topic because no-one likes paying for insurance and prices vary for everyone and every vehicle.

With that in mind... How are the rates on these cars? I'm looking at an 06 WRX... I have a clean record and intend to go with a $500 ded both comp/coll.

Progressive quoted me at $30/mo more than my 04 Explorer with full coverage and $1k ded's. Doesn't seem so bad to me?

Oh one more bit of info, I'm 22, so sub-25 will obviously equal higher rates by default (%&$#ers).

I don't think it's a useful question. I thought the same when it was asked in this thread; however the thread has pages and pages of responses:

    Insurance on 04 subaru wrx?

What would insurance on a 04 subaru wrx sedan be? It would be minimum insurance on Allstate. I'm 15 years old going to be 16 soon. I just wanted an idea before I call the insurance company for myself. Thanks

Unfortunately, no one here is going to be able to answer that. Best thing to do is call a bunch of different companies and get quotes from all of them.
