Contacted Progressive about my hike. They said that they were getting mail returned from the Post Office saying it was going back to my old address at my parents house in NJ. Just had to update to my new mailing address. Rates back down to $97 a month and new insurance cards in hand. No hassle. Love Progressive.

I'm wondering if I'm paying too much.
I'm 30, my wife is 27. We use allstate and they also insure our house and motorcycle. The motorcycle is super cheap at $80/year. The house is $927/year
But the cars... oh my god the cars. I have no accidents and 1 ticket in 3 years. My wife had an accident earlier this year.
We pay what seems like an ungodly amount. This is for 100/300 coverage with a $500 deduct on both cars.
2011 WRX (Base, not a STI) - $696.33 every 6 months
2005 VW Beetle Convertible - $599.86 every 6 months
I guess we have a lot of uninsured motorist in Colorado (lots illegals have come in the past several years). That's another $183.58 every 6 months.

My avatar is a picture of a REAL Wendy's girl that I took. I couldn't believe the shirt (spoon me? sounds like a sexual lawsuit waiting to happen) but it's pretty funny too. I commented about her shirt, she was cool and I asked if I could take a picture with my phone!
State farm, multi-car, home, life, motorcycle, fire, flood, blah blah blah.. 300,000/300,000/300,000 (I think maybe one is 500,000)
2005 STi is 100.33 (0- comp- 250 col and gap coverage to appraised value)
2007 STi is 85.74 (0-comp- 250 col and gap coverage to appraised value)
2008 WRX 5dr is 64.22 (0 comp- 250 col)
2011 WRX 4dr is 68.03 (0 comp- 250 col)
Oh.. I am 29 years old, single with son (some how this put me in the married category) 1 ticket (****ing yellow car!)

29 years old, 2011 wrx, clean record---48.50 per month
26-clean 5 year record--2006 WRX--$99 per month for 50/100/50-Comp-$250 deduct-Collision-$500 deduct-Uninsured motorists and $5k medical. This is with State Farm.
21 2012 wrx hatch 500k limits on everything, glass, towing, and $500 deductible. $173 a month with liberty mutual. And when I picked up my car since I have liberty mutual for a extra $1000 I got a 100,000 Mile bumper to bumper warranty.

I'm 25. 2004 STi. Full coverage, $500 deductible. I pay about $79 a month through Farmers.
I just joined the WRX community with my purchase of a 2012 WRX in April. I was a Legacy GT driver before getting my rex, and have to say I'm glad I finally moved up to the WRX.
I recently received my new insurance quote after moving to a new state (Kansas). I was quoted at $2,163.37 (through Safeco) annually by my insurance agency. This seemed awfully high compared to my previous premiums, and what I've read on this site.
I know it depends on the coverage, this was for a $500 deductible, though I know with a $1000 deductible it would drop down to ~$1800 annually. It also hurts that I am a 21 year old male, but I have no speeding tickets or accidents, which is why I still feel that ~$2200 annually is sky high.
What are you fellas paying annually in insurance premiums?
$99 per month/State Farm/06 WRX/Full Coverage - deductibles - $250 Comp - $500 collision/26 with a clean 7 year history.
Insurance rates are all relative. Younger drivers below 25 are considered high risk by insurance companies so your rates will be higher even if you do not have any violations.
I pay $70 with $500 deductible/GEICO/Full coverage no tickets,married,multiple cars,Umbrella insurance ,etc.
