I pay 86 dollars a month full coverage 1000 deductible horrible driving record but insured under my wifey:-) progressive. If your under someone else's policy as a driver it's cheaper if you have a extensive driving record
Also I'm new on here so hi check on my thread and give me some advice please!

For my 2011 Limited Sedan, I'm paying $383 a 6 months (equiv of $63.80 a month) with 100/300 liability and 100k on everything else including uninsured motorist and medical with $500 comprehensive deductible and $1000 collision deductible. I'm in my mid '30s and have nothing on my record currently (and a total of 1 speeding ticket lifetime). I do get a discount for having my house and car insurance through the same company, though. That's up from around $370 with the '04 WRX Wagon I had before this one. Considering the increased value (for collision), I thought that was alright.

Thanks for the input I called around and geico quoted me $78 a month with 100k/300k. That's $142 cheaper then AAA's quote for the same car with 15k/30k.

$55 a month. Full coverage, 2011 WRX. USAA is the best.

$17,000 a year for insurance? I think I'd rather have another $300,000 mortgage for a home at $1,400 a month...

I'm not knocking anyone, it's just amazing to see a $17k a year bill for insurance.

1100 every 6 months for 11 STi with $0 deductable. (It would be about half that with a $500 deductable, that being said I'm 30 with no speeding tickets and 10 years with the same company.)

Just got my updated policy for my 2011 WRX, my 6 month premium went down nearly 50%, from $339/mo to $179/mo. All thanks to my 25th birthday coming up for this policy period. Was expecting maybe a 20% reduction but I'm not complaining.

How is that even possible? Is your deductible $2000? are you 55 and over? or is your insurance company about to go out of business? That's the type of coverage you would get for a 1997 toyota corrola...lol At least where I live

I have a $500 deductible and I pay $2239 a year. I just got my renewal and it went up $200! I am so pissed. They were even kind enough to include a write up that due to increased claims premiums were going up! I have had no tickets in 5 years and any accident I had (both over 6 years ago) were not my fault. I am 28.

Insurance companies are just as bad as Oil companies IMO. They just take and take, and then find another reason to take more.

I'll throw my hat in the ring too I guess.

31yrs old, 2011 WRX, $89 a mo for full coverage with added coverage amounts (increased payout limits for accidents) and I believe $100 deductible. No tickets or accidents on my record. The rate could be low due to me also having life and renters insurance bundled with same company.

Also like to note as comedy relief... I was paying $112 a month for my Scion tC I had before the WRX.... same company, same policy amounts, but $23 more for less of a car.

I pay less than $90/month for full coverage, $100 deductible on my 2003 with Allstate. One accident where I was not at fault, and no tickets. Married.

It's actually lower than that now since our homeowner's insurance is bundled in.

Our agent is a family friend and handles all of our insurance needs. He makes sure we get every discount we possibly can, and we've been very pleased.
