They run pretty rich from the factory. I saw a 2mpg increase in mileage when I got tuned.

[QUOTE=Jon45189;2352875]I got a brand new '08 WRX 5 days ago. It's a great car and all, but does anyone else get really bad gas mileage?

ALso depends on your driving habits and what rpm your shifting at. You should definately be getting a little bit better mpgs unless your shifting at 4k or something

made several trips back and forth to St. Louis (1300 miles each way)

Same mileage - 93 Octane map, 91 Octane Map, and even the economy mode.... no difference, 22.9 mpg, almost 75mph the entire way there.

    Oh, VF39 maps, not stock.

with my bugeye pushing 380whp these days im still getting right around 25-27ish on the highway and about 20-22 around town (assuming i stay out of the boost) if i put my foot down on the other hand those 810cc injectors rob my fuel tank.

so i was just wondering what type of gas milage everyone is getting. If you could list mods very simply (stage 1 stage 2 etc) and then gas milage that would be awesome

My car, is bone stock and i get about 25mpg

My mileage depends on what material my right foot decides to be made of. haha

However, I average around 22-23 mpg.

    Stock powertrain.

Stock 04 WRX wagon. Did a 300 mile round trip last week. All highway, 65-70 mph with cruise control. Pulled up to the pump after arriving home and calculated 28 mpg.

I usually pull 23-26 doing mostly highway/a little spirited driving.

And if we're going to talk gas gauge i've been getting 100-120 miles to 3/4 and around 200 at 1/2.
