What's the max boost people have hit?

Just curious what the max boost is people have hit with the 15 or 16 WRX? I was stuck at 20.1 since I got the car, but I just recently hit 21.9 yesterday in sport mode sometime on a pull from about 30mph-90mph. Is there more in the tank for the turbo, or is that it? I did also recently get a new intake through Subaru as mine was one of the ones stuck in the recall for being cracked.

This is just the peak... the 15-16 hang around 15 psi I believe.

Lol it shouldn't be a competition to go any higher on the stock block.

I think my '15 WRX went to 22.X one time. I think it typically would hold at 15-16PSI as noted.

I hit 22.8. '16 CVT. I try not to tax it much, but sometimes I need to in order to get into traffic.
    Of course that's peak.

I only have it for 3 more days, I'm trying to get every last ounce of fun out of it that I can. I just wanted to see if it could peak higher as someone mentioned at the track they peaked at 24 with a stock motor. that seemed a bit excessive

I don't think anyone was making it into a competition. I personally don't like it going high.

The max boost for the 15' and 16' is 15.9 but you can get overboost sometimes which is why you are seeing the higher numbers. The overboost is instantaneous and not sustained so it's not a concern.

The stock boost gauge is far from accurate. I've pegged mine at 24.0 PSI many times (max it will register), while my AP will read the max boost at 21-22psi (tuned for 21).

In other words, it's about as accurate as the MPG gauge?

Hey, my gauge is reliably 2mpg over hand calc every time lol, I would call it accurately inaccurate.

22.4 max so far. Always does that if I jump on the gas rather than easing into it.
