    Goodbye engine #1.

    My 2013 WRX engine crapped out on me. Sounded like some marbles bouncing around and then she shut off on the highway. Started her back up and it was knocking like hell. I'm praying that it's covered under warranty. Haven't even had the car a year and only had light mods and nothing excessive. Bringing her on a flatbed to the dealer tomorrow.

    That sucks man.
    I'm hoping the dealer will fix it for you.
    The important thing is why did it fail?
    Do you check your oil regularly?
    Another member had his engine go, but it was due to running it with almost no oil.

    Only a Cobb intake with stage 1. No serious stuff. Was not data logging. Friend at the shop where I was going to get a pro tune heard some slight knocking. I told him I was going to bring the car to dealer and on the highway it crapped out

    Super bummed out. Hoping there's light at the end of the tunnel. I'll let everyone knows what Subaru says tomorrow.

    Sucks, man. Religiously at what interval? Put it back to stock before it visits the dealer.
    I have an STi with an intake and no tune, I never change my oil, and my wheel spacerz are mad tyte.

    Every 3,000, sometimes at 2,900 if I knew I wouldn't be able to make it. Following what they put on the sticker.

    Un-marry the AP before taking it in... at least they won't know what tune you had on there, plus if they flash the ECU during any work it won't tank the AP.

    AP is already unmarried. Just going to put the stock air box back in and calling for the flatbed in the morning.

    Sometimes that's all it takes for a manufacturer defected part to fail. This wasn't a result of the tune, but more so, just pushed over cliff by the stage 1. Good luck OP, here is to hoping your dealership covers the rebuild!
