EWG sound vs honking at people

This is mostly for the guys with ewg setups.

I find myself never using my horn anymore, unless someone is swerving into my lane

Instead of the horn I just sound off the ewg. Like if someone isn't making the right turn at a red, or they are stopped at a green on their phone. I also sound off the ewg at guys who are driving like total ****heads, usually when their window is open so their ears will bleed.

    Anyone else do this?

Nah. Reminds me of squids bouncing the rev limiter on their gxsr 1000.

I've never seen a squid on a 170 hp bike, but I'm sure they're out there. I personally dislike the Harley revving sound more than the high pitched 4 cylinders.

Come to long island, Youll see plenty.

I prob would consider using the ewg, but I bet many would not recognize or react to it the same as a horn.

I'd probably get a hella horn instead. On my R6 I had to rev at people because the horn was so quiet no one heard it. Pull in the clutch and letting the Yoshimura scream let people know real fast "oh **** I'm merging into a biker about to kill him."

I thought about getting a train horn for those specific people actually. The ones sleeping at a green light...the ones that fly into your lane narrowly missing your front end (come to tucson, there won't be a day that goes by when you won't wish you had something)

There was a guy in my high school who had a loudspeaker on his car, like a cruiser would have, and he used to make weird farm animal noises instead of honking at people. It's really strange when you're minding your own business at a red light and you hear "MOOOOOOOOve, Sarah!"

My friend actually had an old cop car. With search light, no back door handles, the works. Lots of fun to be had in that lol.
