    ride quality

My short list is getting shorter towards my next automobile, and with the 15 WRX having the best reliability, resale, and AWD it's coming ahead of the ST and GTI, leaving only the accord 6-6 (which seems a little to soft).
My only concern is ride quality. Those who daily drive the WRX, is the ride quality hard to live with everyday? Is it enough to make you nauseous as some reviewers have claimed?
I'm not sure if a single test drive is enough to tell me how livable the ride be quality will be year after year.

    Thank you for your input.

Nauseous? Who the hell said that?

Let me put it this way, the WRX is not a spine crusher like even a regular Honda civic is. It is not overly stiff by any means... but we're talking the WRX, not the STI.

The WRX is just soft enough not to be jarring, but stiff enough to perform. My stepdad is a total ride quality nazi, and he likes the ride in the WRX, so that says a lot.

The ride is surprisingly forgiving. Stiff but not jarring.

Even the STI is quite forgiving.

The only time I even notice myself thinking about the "harshness" of the suspension is when it gets really loaded up going through a patch of road that has a bunch of short, sharp, bumps in it. Otherwise it may as well be slightly stiffer than any other car.
Also, FWIW, I suffer from vertigo and am very sensitive to motion and the '15 has never triggered anything for me.

    Agree w/Bacon.

My last ride (Mazda 3) was worse of a ride in my opinion. Only car I've had with a better ride was my '00 Acura TL.

    Which Mazda3?

I had a 2006 2.3 hatch and honestly the ride quality was very similar.

Mine was a 2007 2.0 sedan. It wasn't terrible, just noticeably worse then my 2014 WRX, and a whole hell of a lot worse then my '00 TL.

The reviewers that are getting "nauseous" probably aren't enthusiasts of not only WRXs, but of cars in general. WRX is quite forgiving for daily driving considering it's a performance sedan with a stiffer suspension than a normal DD.

Ahh, yeh man, my girlfriend has that exact car. The ride is not the same as the 2.3 hatches, not sure if that has something to do with chassis flex, or just flat out different spring rates and damping.

I wanna say the spring rates and damping were off in the car. If just felt stiffer then it needed to be. Don't get me wrong for the 10K budget and having <1 week to buy an AT car, it wasn't a bad car.

If you do a lot of city driving, the ride is pretty harsh (compared to my '14 Forester). On the highway it's a nice ride and handles well.

...well yes, if you compare it to a forester. Compare it to a Honda and its a Cadillac.

I wouldn't go that far. I've driven the entire 2014 and 2015 daily driver Honda sedan/coupe lineup (i.e. Civic/Accord). WRX is less forgiving than them all.
