    The Seats Are Hot!

The seats are hold A LOT of heat in them!

I have to bring an extra shirt if I go out of town! This is with the AC on high the whole time.

And no, the seat heater is not on

Does anyone else have this issue?

The last time I went out of town I put a towel on the back part of the seat, and another towel on the bottom part of the seat.

    That seemed to help some.

I just don't want to ruin the seat from sweat.

I'm sorry man, I forgot to post the year. Its a 2014 STI.

I think the seats are suede?

I believe those are alcantara. I've personally never had a car with that material so I can't say anything based on experience.

Do you by chance have seat warmers that may be stuck on?

The seat warmers are off, I always check to make sure. You can tell when they're on.

Yeah, I have cloth seats but I have this problem too. I only ever wear 100% linen shirts because the material breathes, but the AC in these cars just doesn't seem powerful enough for hot climates. Yesterday I was driving to a job in the middle of the day and it was a full 30 mins after setting out from my house before I could turn the AC down a little from full blast. And it wasn't that hot; only about 90f (which is still 40 hotter than I'd like it to be!). I think for my next car purchase, air cooled seats is going to be very, very high on my list of priorities.

    Agreed Sir!

I took the car on a 100 mile trip about a month ago and the AC was on high most of the trip Haha. I leave it on Auto so the fan speed adjusts depending on the temp outside and the temp you choose.

I think Chevy makes air cooled seats, and I think BMW and Mercedes do also.

I have no other things about the car. I absolutely love it. Its so fun to drive. Its the best handling car I've ever owned or driven.

Last week I was approaching a stop light at the intersection and I think I slowed down to 35 and put it in 3rd or 4th gear and turned left at the stop light without touching the breaks. The tires didn't squeal or lose traction at all.

I wanna put an exhaust and wheels on it but I'm not sure if I wanna do that or not. Those would be the only mods.
