At our company picnic, at an amusement park. I park at the very very far end of the lot walking back to my car I see I have company and unlike most times I have HUGE smile at the company that parked next to me!
For cars that don't have pre-tapped license plate holes in the bumper, it saves you from having to drill the bumper. The WRX has pre-tapped holes, but they don't fit US plates, so dealers have to drill the bumpers. I believe most Subarus (and other makes as well) are like this. For cars that have a pre-made bracket in the center for US plates, I wouldn't offset it like that.
man i dont know if i can even scare up that many wrx/sti's in the erea. let alone all nearly the same body style And hatches. thats cool! makes for a official meet right?
What was that, a meet for classic old WRX/STIs? LOL, just kidding - if I see a WRX of any age in a parking lot with a space next to it, that's where I park. Anyone with a WRX is alright in my books
Sounds weird, but I had pulled into a distant spot at store with about 95% free spaces the other day, and this guy in Maserati pulled up next to me before I had even turned the engine off. As we got out I gave him an odd look and he simply said, "I know you're not going to scrape my car on the way out". He has a point - most WRX drivers are respectful of their vehicles. I would have no problem to find a bunch of WRXs parked next to me.
Only once for me. And odly it was a 02 WRX sedan...in midnight black pearl. " nice sedan!". "Dude! Nice wagon!". He was just passing through town and we basicly pulled into parking spots facing each other. It was weird. We both spit quick though it was twenty below lol. Not much time for a quick meet outside haha
