    Question what is it?

On a 2015 WRX there is a rectangular box center of rear bumper cover looks like a place for a hitch. What is that?

Its the rear fog light port. The USDM are not lucky enough for it to be standard. Similar spot on the 2011-14 sedan.

I'm less worried about the rear fog lamp cover than the silly EU spec front plate holes...

Thanx for info on fog lite. would've never guessed it. Usually rear fog lite is brighter left lens.
Re Euro license holes... to top it off my dealer drilled 2 more holes for the Maine plates. Aggh. Not too much to ask a new owner if they can drill holes in MY new car! I solved it (covered it) by using a WRX plate delete.

Bummer - I thought it was for the afterburner.
