I'm surprised nobody has mentioned my one complaint: I HATE the flat-bottom steering wheel. WTF is the point of it? It doesn't create any extra leg room and does not allow you to slide the steering wheel in your hands smoothly at all. Just seems like something to make it look cool like a high-end sports car.

I normally ride my bike unless it's raining or snowing. I've had the car for a month now and have maybe 300 miles on it. Most of it coming from an extended test drive after I picked it up.

I have no complaints about the steering wheel. It doesn't negatively affect the way I drive nor do I see any real driving advantage to it. The extra leg room is only for getting into and out of the car, personally I'll take space anywhere I can get it.

What's interesting is that purists probably think that all the high tech gizmos, even power windows, shouldn't be on a true sports car. But we all mention things that the WRX or STi should have as we compare it to other cars out there.

Imagine if Subaru made a WRX or STi with the base necessities. Only what was needed to get it past government regulations. I bet alot of people would love it.

I'm not sure you realize what a small percentage the "auto enthusiast" community encompasses with respect to the total industry. Further boil down that small group into those who are willing to live without any creature comforts and it's a difficult business case to make.

YOU may think it'd be cool. Jalopnik would think it was cool. Hell I'd probably think it was cool, but sales it would not generate.

I consider the WRX to be my plush car. My next car will be the pure driver's car.

I realize this thread has degraded slightly. And my gripe doesn't appear to be anythin new.... (Apologies but this is too stupid to start a new thread)

My gripe is.... There is nowhere to put a tissue box. I used to keep a half size box in my previous cars, but there is no place to put any size tissue box anywhere securely.

I realize this is quite dumb but please offer some suggestions in a 2015 wrx.

    Thanks!!
