I don't like that I couldn't bring the 2015 WRX with me to Croatia. The roads here are narrow, windy, undulating and seemingly go on forever - exactly what my car was designed for! My wife doesn't share the same thought though

I've gotten accustomed to keyless ignition with the start button in my BRZ. Now, when I get in the bugeye, I sit there for a few seconds with the keys in my pocket, trying to remember what I'm supposed to do next.

    1st gear throttle response

First gear in my 2015 WRX is somewhat better than it was in my 2010 WRX. But it still feels like there's an annoying delay in throttle response when I try to get moving quickly from a dead stop.

If I hit the throttle with the car in 1st and the clutch disengaged, there's definitely a noticeable delay. I expect to see tach needle jump as soon as I hit the gas pedal and it doesn't. Then once the engine does start opening up, I have to be really careful not to engage the clutch too quickly or else the engine will rev back down. It doesn't lug. It just feels like it refuses to rev up as fast as I'm asking it to under load and get me moving at a decent pace. It does fine if I'm already revving at 3000-3500 before I let up on the clutch. But I don't want to launch from every dead stop. I don't want to be sitting at every red light with the engine revving that high waiting for what seems like eternity for the light to turn green. Maybe my expectations are too high for a 4 cylinder turbo. 10 years ago I had a 5 speed mustang GT and that low end torque might have spoiled me.

I think this has more to do with the phone. I had a nexus 5 before and kept having to turn Bluetooth on and off to finally connect. Now have a moto g and it connects right away.

My Nexus 5 has never had a single problem connecting. Weird.

Sold my 15 WRX after 2 months. Mainly sold it bc my commute drastically changed not bc I didn't like the car.

But I Hated the nav screen, didn't like the upgraded sound system and hated the 1->2 shift.

If I bought one again I would either go for the base or the limited. The premium wasn't worth it to me.

That is weird. Did you get a first batch or later? I got a first batch one.

Stage 1 throttle mapping might help

Why is there not a dedicated coin holder in the WRX?? The little tray in front of the cupholders would never hold coins during corners and the padded cubby in front of the shifter is more like a sunglass holder tray.

How about Sucuraj to Jelsa. That would be the blast.

Is it just me....or does anyone else not care for amenities like navigation? I've never had a vehicle that had one, but I've always just used my phone. The only thing that I thoroughly enjoy is the back up camera that came standard on my 2013 Si...it was a bummer when I traded that in for my 2014 WRX. When I get back from deployment I'm definitely considering the 2015 WRX for my wife.

That depends on how good the nav system is. I rented an Audi A5 in England last year and the nav was amazing (useful as I was driving small roads I had never been to before). The way it was integrated into the dash as well as the screen made it easy to use and non-intrusive. The WRX system felt more cluttered which is why I opted not to pay for it.

I'm spoiled in my Xterra as theres plenty of little storage areas. Take my Xterra center console and even radio and heat controls and put it in my STi and I'd be happy. An Xterra is basic. But I like that. The only thing that's nice about my STi is the stock nav radio has Bluetooth and I can play music off my phone therefore without plugging it in. My Xterra since its a 2005 doesn't have Bluetooth, USB or accessory port stock. Give me those. But it does have tons of 12v adapters. Like 3 up front.
