    I don't like that I couldn't bring the 2015 WRX with me to Croatia. The roads here are narrow, windy, undulating and seemingly go on forever - exactly what my car was designed for! My wife doesn't share the same thought though

    1st gear throttle response

    First gear in my 2015 WRX is somewhat better than it was in my 2010 WRX. But it still feels like there's an annoying delay in throttle response when I try to get moving quickly from a dead stop.

    If I hit the throttle with the car in 1st and the clutch disengaged, there's definitely a noticeable delay. I expect to see tach needle jump as soon as I hit the gas pedal and it doesn't. Then once the engine does start opening up, I have to be really careful not to engage the clutch too quickly or else the engine will rev back down. It doesn't lug. It just feels like it refuses to rev up as fast as I'm asking it to under load and get me moving at a decent pace. It does fine if I'm already revving at 3000-3500 before I let up on the clutch. But I don't want to launch from every dead stop. I don't want to be sitting at every red light with the engine revving that high waiting for what seems like eternity for the light to turn green. Maybe my expectations are too high for a 4 cylinder turbo. 10 years ago I had a 5 speed mustang GT and that low end torque might have spoiled me.

    I think this has more to do with the phone. I had a nexus 5 before and kept having to turn Bluetooth on and off to finally connect. Now have a moto g and it connects right away.

    My Nexus 5 has never had a single problem connecting. Weird.

    Sold my 15 WRX after 2 months. Mainly sold it bc my commute drastically changed not bc I didn't like the car.

    But I Hated the nav screen, didn't like the upgraded sound system and hated the 1->2 shift.

    If I bought one again I would either go for the base or the limited. The premium wasn't worth it to me.

    Stage 1 throttle mapping might help
