Got an incredible deal on a Limited 6mt + nav with extended arm rest and home link mirror through Costco and paid ~30k + tax and 150$ dealer fee.

Ordered mine White WRX Premium with armrest, dimming mirror and mats for 27800 + tax + doc fee. Didn't negotiate it at all, so one could expect better price now

Just ordered my WRX on Saturday I negotiated with dealers via phone/e-mail for 3 days and ended up buying through Reno, NV. It's stupid how CA dealers don't want to deal (same thing happened for my BRZ) for anyone looking in the Bay Area, CA, hopefully this will help you out:

Reno - 1,000 below invoice (costco program)
Heuberger Motors Colorado - 500 below invoice
    Livermore - 300 Above invoice
Albany - 400 above invoice (costco program)
    Burlingame - 500 Above invoice
    Roseville - 500 above invoice
    Santa Cruz - MSRP
    Elk Grove - MSRP
    Fairfield - 3K Above MSRP
    Monterey - MSRP
    Sacramento - MSRP
    Marin - MSRP
    Redwood City - MSRP
    Walnut Creek - MSRP

Now for the fun 7-10 week wait...

Hm.. not sure. This is what the guy told me:

"This is Paul Bushnell the Internet Sales Manager for Lithia Reno Subaru and the Costco Auto Buying Program once again. Order a WRX through me and I will sell it to you at $1,000 Below Invoice Price."

Ordered mine last week... Dark Grey Metallic WRX Base w/ STI "performance exhaust", Auto dim mirror w/ compass and fog lights. $26.8k, Baltimore. Said it would be in the October "allocation".

Estimated delivery "Late December early January".

I called one dealer (Hunt Valley Subaru) and they said if I came in today, expect May or June of 2015 for delivery!

I bought my '14 Forester at Wilkins and placed my WRX order at Russel. I think my favorite in the area is Annapolis, just not convenient. Russel was very nice and hassle free!
