Like I said (and Zax can confirm) 99% of the dealerships in the MD/VA (NoVa), DE, PA area and possibly further north won't go below invoice because the demand is so high for these. They know if they don't sell it to you for invoice someone WILL come in and buy it for invoice or higher.

I'm happy for you. I don't think I could go back and forth for months. I'm happy with invoice and over the process (until it is delivered lol)

Dealerships around here can't keep the WRX/STi on the lot. Local dealership already sold 15 STi and 40 WRX without a car sitting on the lot for more than 24 hours. They won't budge under 1000 over Invoice.
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

Its good and bad. Good for dealerships but bad because Subaru Japan can't build them quick enough and also bad because dealers know someone will pay above invoice for them so they won't work with you.

Deliver to 95% of your customer base OR deliver to 5% of your customer base? Tell me you wouldn't make the same decision?

I'm cross shopping this with the new GTI. I know, FWD vs awd but I test drove the new mk7 and absolutely loved it. Haven't had a chance to drive the new wrx...or any wrx for that matter.

Prices seem similar. Anyone get a new wrx down in the richmond Va area? How much did u pay and what trim?

Welcome to ClubWRX! The MK7 looks like a great little car. I would have loved to test the MK7 Golf R had it been released.

Have the option to grab an '15 base for $25900 (27500 OTD after fees and 4.3% sales tax).

Should I take this or hold out? I can pay in cash, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

What do you guys think of a Limited 6mt with HK/nav, Homelink and the STS for $1k over invoice?

There's only a handful of dealerships in the area, the others are selling at MSRP or higher.

I found an out-of-state dealer that's selling $500 under invoice, but it would cost me about $1k for insured truck delivery -- kind of a wash at that point, and i won't get the benefit of tax breaks on a trade-in.

Which dealer is that and what state?
I have airline miles and hotel points. I wouldn't mind a free road trip to get a good deal on a new Rex
