    That gauge display is pretty cool. And to think; I went out, bought and installed boost, oil press, oil temp, and WBo2 gauges while you WRX guys get that from the factory.

    Unless you have a special STi, no oil temp gauge
    2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

    As mentioned in my very first post on this thread, I have a WRX.

    I just never knew you could get the oil temp readout until someone mentioned it so i went and screwed with it a bit.

    I think it is pretty odd that the STi doesn't have it. Maybe mid cycle refresh will add it.

    It is part of the new motor design. Until the STi receives the FA20, no oil temp gauge.

    Really? I read in a few articles that our American STIs might be the last of the ej series due to the fact japan already switched....also that the only reason we still run the ej still is because of our low octane gas in the states....

    No STi receives the FA20. Japan retired the STi model.

    I think Europe and Aus get the EJ STi too.

    As a side note, in the booklet, they were more particular about putting high octane gas exclusively in the STi, and were more lax about the regular Rex.
