    Now at 585 miles,getting a lot smoother with the shifting.The balky key issue is pretty much gone.I do have to crank this thing to get it started,sometimes it takes three tries.Drove all day in the rain,the car feels rock solid.

    I only got 18mpg my first tank lol. Im going to try for a better average this tank though. If i stick to the highway ill be able to keep it up im sure. That and lighten up my right foot a bit

    You shouldn't have a heavy foot during the break in period regardless....

    I looked at the RPMs and it doesn't go above 4k. I mainly had crap mileage because i was in traffic the whole week.

    Edit-
    I have accidently gone over 4k when i get on the entrance to the highway but i quickly let off when i notice. Getting up to highway speed in a small space doesn't take too much effort for this car thankfully so its only happened a few times.

    My mileage is mostly highway,so I am expecting about 19-20 in the city.

    That's about what I am seeing, highway is giving me 30. My car reading was close to spot on at my last fill-up - wasn't expecting that!

    How fast are you going on the highway. The posted speed limit on the highway i travel on is 70 but most of us drive 80 so i just go with the flow of traffic. When im cruising at 60 my mpg is allot higher though. Probably around 28. Of course ambient air temp was 90 degrees here during the day. That bits mpg pretty hard i noticed. Drops about 3 mpg roughly between night and day driving depending on temp.

    Most of my highway speeds are rural,posted at 55.My speed varies from 50-60.

    Now at 672 miles.Filled up today,gas mileage was 30.6mpg.

    I just came from the mall with my wife. Its about a 20 min drive and I averaged 34 mpg by keeping her at 2k (as close as possible with the CVT anyway). Kept my speed at 60 until I got on the loop and then went up to 70 for about a mile and then I was home.

    I'm going to try to keep this up for the next few tanks

    I have to say I was truly impressed with the motor in the 2015 WRX. Under 2000 rpm, the EJ257 had more torque, but above 2000 rpm the FA20 really shone. The motor was a lot smoother in every way than the EJ.
