That's what happened with my last car... then I got so sick of looking at it that I sold it. I took a big loss but it worked out in my favor in the end.

in this market I doubt it will decrease in value. It will most likely go up in value... hopefully.

Well the last car was a 2000 eclipse GT, it just died and my buddy that was helping me work on it got hurt and I didn't know nearly enough at that point. The WRX is fine, though, once the head gasket gets done. I plan on this car lasting me at least the length of the loan.

I've heard that adds an impressive amount of housepower.

My house has forced induction. I upgraded to a side-mount heat exchanger too.

No but seriously, congratulations on the house and don't lose patience, it's just a car. Why not take it to an autocross? Then you can have fun now, and later down the road be able to really appreciate the upgrades you will have made.

..... Yes i know the purchase of a house is a great investment but i'm just being childish and impatient.... LOL. I also know what I'm missing. I have had turbo cars before. i bought and dumped piles of money just to make the car a little quicker and have the sounds i want like the PFFFFFSSSHH of a BOV... LOL idk I just miss it
I appreciate all the congratulations though.

Houses can be money pits - the wrx is great stock - I have regrets about every little thing I have done to my car (not that I have done much) - my 2 cents

Yes they are different from cars - but purchasing a property is not necessarily a sound financial investment. Of course it often is ...

How unfortunate for you that the new house you bought is putting a pinch on the money for modding your car.
