    2013 wrx boost leak

    Hi everyone,

My wrx has a boost leak from IC to TB few times before and i fix it.
now i got fed up and remove the rubber thing from the hose and tight up hose without it.
but now i am having a more boost leak. i can hear it in the car.
my question is do i need after market hose or i am doing something wrong?
    thank you all

Are you sure that's where the leak is?

Then you should probably get a new hose.

Put that rubber piece back on. you wont be able to make a nice seal with the oem hose. Or like everyone else says get a new hose. I have needed to adjust mine a few times and the rubber piece came off mine easily once it gets warmer ill be putting on my new hose.

I was thinking the same, but I assume that it's not covered due to aftermarket parts. Which could be the problem.

...but ass. u. me. Just a guess.
