    My biggest gripe with the car beside the looks (although I haven't seen it in person) is they say the got rid of the unequal length headers for performance, but it's only got 3 more hp and a handful more torque. You can keep your 3 hp and I'll keep my Subie rumble.

    Wonder whats it's going to sound like with an exhaust?

    i forgot about the UEL headers too.. its going to sound like a civic haha

    But with a half liter less displacement, no?

    I saw one at the auto show in salt lake, and it is so ugly now, I am so happy I got my 2014 and didn't wait

    Me, I'd take the DIT, EL headers and twin scroll over the rumble, because it's good tech. The 2.0L (FA20DIT) has more peak power and torque than the EJ257, but the power is more broadly spread, as well. That twin scroll will offer quick spool, but you'll lose that advantage if you get rid of the ELs. Also, aren't the UELs one part of the issue of cracked ringlands? That's probably another good reason to have ELs.

    Pretty sure all of your gripes are actually substantial upgrades on the part of Subaru.

    ..except maybe the auto trans, but it's supposed to be the best made yet out of any manufacturer. And the other option is the six speed, in the WRX, I can't seem to complain lol.
