Text display for USB song info - non iPod

My F-150 displays Artist/Song information for content loaded on a thumb drive which came from a standard Windows folder structure (folders named after artists, songs within folders). Searches here say the WRX display works for iPod but it doesn't seem to work for what I described.

Is there a way to format the content within the Windows folder structure so the WRX displays it?

What year is your wrx? I have a 13' and there is an option for switch to see either artist, song name, or album name. Is that what you want? or do you want to see all of them at the same time?
