I have a 2013 WRX hatch...and it gets all sorts of attention. Wife points this out to me every time we're out in the WRX. She doesn't understand why the WRX or STI gets this much attention...

In my evo x it wasn't anything for someone to say something when the car was out. People would even yell out at an intersection.

Wonder how it will be in the WRX hatch. As long as its positive attention I don't mind.

I've had my 2013 STi for a little over a month now and it literally gets no attention. Probably because there are a ton of these cars in the Pacific Northwest.

A few week ago guy in his maybe 50's in an AcuraRDX followed me to work just to ask more info on my car. He was amazed at how nice it looked. I must admit, I was real nervousness when he pulled up next to me since he followed me almost 3 miles. Anyways felt good and now I have him as a client ha!

I live in an area with a lot of rich folks, so neither of my cars get as much as a turned head. I'm fine with that. It's not about them.

Living the the DC area there is no shortage of eye-catchers driving around. I see Ferrari's, Maserati's, Lotus', Bently's etc. on a daily basis. I live in a fairly large apartment building and there is everything from Porshe to a GTR in my parking lot. That being said, I still see a good amount of heads turn when I pass by in my '13 WRX. The most excited I've seen someone get was a little kid, probably around 10 or 11 years old; he was passing in front of me at a stop sign and stopped dead in the middle of the cross walk like a deer in the headlights and said "Woah, WRX!" haha His mother proceeded to drag him out of the way to the sidewalk lol

The best thing since she didn't get hurt was when I had my S2000. I just got it around Halloween and wanted to drop the top and take it out since it wasn't too cold yet. This girl was staring at the car crossing the street and tripped on the curb lol. She was fine but that was pretty good.

99% of people are oblivious to hood scoops, and have no idea about performance beyond brand names. "You think your Subaru's faster than a Porsche, don't you?" <sneer> "Well, depends upon which Porsche." "Oh c'mon, it's a Porsche, dude!" <another sneer> "I think I'll go over there and talk to my wife...bye!"

I actually get noticed quite a bit...but probably more because my car is red. So features like the scoop and the trunk lip and lines of the car are more easily viewable.

Though I'm really only stock...I had a guy in my office complex stop me and say "Man, nice car. Looks fast!"

He then proceeded to tell me that he wishes he still had his old Viper, and his ZR1 Camaro. Made me feel kinda good

Now that I think about it...maybe the issue is that I no longer notice if people are noticing.

    I'd take the Porsche.

I could not care less how fast the Subaru is
