This is a discussion on Shift light, for those of you who have one.... within the Everyday Impreza Talk forums, part of the Community - Meet other Enthusiasts category; What is it set to. I set mine to 4000 the day I got it and havent changed it since....

    you have just the controlled shift light or a tach with one? i was considering a autometer shift light with the rpm box.

    how did you mount it?
    when my friends come up, i hear, "you sold the camarrrroooh.....HOLY BLEEP A WRX!"

    I Support ClubWRX
    mine was set to 4K from the factory, but it was driving me nuts so I set it to 7K so it never really comes on anymore.

    It only comes with the STi.

    I have mine set to 6400 rpm.

    I've found shift lights to be merely manufacturer's suggestion. You should just disregard it. Much like the recommended break in period.
