Remove tow hook cover on 13 wrx?

Is there a way to remove the tow hook cover on a 2013 wrx without taking off the bumper? The only videos i've seen on how to remove the cover is to unlatch the clips on the backside after removing the entire bumper... not really trying to take off the entire bumper to mount my relocation kit

Its not difficult to remove the bumper very simple and worth knowing how to do. You may be able to get to it from the bottom but you would probably have to take off the splash guard. You can always try wrapping some tape around a screwdriver and see if you can pry it off.

I also installed some Hella horns on mine at the same time as the relocation kit. Maybe while you have it off get some cheap universal mesh grill and put in on the bottom.

Of you had to remove the bumper to get to the tow hook threads. The application of the tow hook would be useless. Just get behind the bumper and pop the cover out.
The hook it self is in the trunk, where the spare tire is.
