    Don't stress it. The dealership doesn't have any condition report so they can't prove that they did not damage the car. As a customer of theirs, they are extremely unlikely to tell you to go pound salt to save a few hundred bucks in paintwork. Even if they did, SOA would make it right for you with a quick call to 1-800-Subaru3. Subaru doesn't have sky high loyalty for no reason. Ive been with them for 7 years and I have never seen them leave someone out in the cold yet. Oh and I would not call your insurance company except as a last resort, as it may raise your rates even if it's 100% not your fault.

    I had the same thing happen with my Ford. Although not quite as bad as yours. But they (dealer) owned up. The dealer should take care of it like rexxx0486 said. They want to keep your business.... I would hope ..

    I've an update.. The dealership just called to tell me that they are going to fix the damage.
