No, Mikie's car was the first one I tuned other than my own...

And it was a good tune too! My car really took well to it.

Hey Mikie, sorry to hear about the car. Seems like you came out of it pretty well though. Actually there's a lot of similarities to when I had my accident. I was unhurt, relieved of having to fix a number of nagging little issues with the car, and the insurance gave me more than I'm sure I would have been able to sell it for.

Anyways, best of luck in your search for a new ride.

Cashing out from the insurance company is sometimes a good deal. Glad it's working out for you. I had a Camaro that got totaled and I was compensated $5500 for it, then I bought it back for $900 and sold $3500 of parts off of it before I donated it to a yard for a tax write-off also. If you have the ability, that's a nice way to go.

Maybe try to hold out juuuuuuuuuuust a few months until the next STI is available? Maybe drive a family member's car that nobody is using? I'd personally stay in the Subaru family because of the loyalty of other owners and the community that it brought. EVO drivers all seem like douches out here, and Mazdas are all filled with teenagers. Stick with something respectable that you won't look funny stepping out of in a suit and tie for a job interview.
