True 2.5RS "Barn Find" Lowest mileage privately owned?!?!? I might have it!!!!

What's up ClubWRX...been a loooong time since I've been here. Life's busy! Anyways....

So, the other day my buddy Walt and I were in my driveway BSing after work over a stupid new motorcycle project I picked up. His full JDM drive train swapped bugeye out front, and my beater 2004 wrx as well...

A man walks up into my driveway with his dog and says "Hey, I see a lot of Subarus out here for sale and in the driveway, so I figured you could help me.."

    "Sure" we say "what's up?"

"Do you know of any Subaru websites I could sell a car on?"

We look at each other, and ask what he's got for sale...he's talking to a couple long time Subaru Techs after all. One of us could be interested.

"Well, I have a 1999 2.5RS sitting in my garage."

Ok, I'm in. Let's go have a look.

"Well, there's one catch. It only has 11,XXX original miles on it. It's been garaged for 8 years, only pulled out to do oil changes in the fall, ran til it got to temp, then put away. It still has half a gallon of original washer fluid in it. The rear seat has never been sat in, the tpe player has never been used, the cup holder, defroster, you name it...untouched. It never saw snow, or rain, and was only rinsed off with distilled water once, maybe twice. I upgraded the coolant to Evans and used a Refractometer to get the H2O level to 0%, after about 4 flushes, at $45 a gallon. All fluids had been changed to Redline after purchase."

    LETS GO FOR A WALK!!!

We get to the location a mere few blocks from my house.

And he opens a tiny, shack of a garage I've probably walked and driven by a million times.

My stomach tightened and I was trying to play it super cool.

    WOW. He wasn't lying.

We bought it on the spot.

Here's the only pictures I have of it at the moment. It was late when I picked it up last night, and today it's sprinkling out, so it's not leaving the garage.

It will be for sale shortly most likely via eBay to avoid the tire kicking types...

Anyways, enough chatting, here's my horrible pics. I hope they put a big smile on your face!

So you just bought it just to flip it? If so, that doesn't really sit well with me, not sure why. Really cool car though. More shots of the interior!

Also, paging Zax, Line 1! Paging Zax, Line 1 please!

    Wow that's incredible!

So where are you located and what kind of price are you looking at selling for? My STI may be kaput (find out tomorrow), so I'm going to need a new car...

Why not? It sounds like the PO wants it gone and the OP (hahaha PO:OP /immaturity) is willing to sit on it for a bit and broker the sale at a later date. It's win-win in my book.
