    I messed around a tad with plastidip. Main steps is to clean they area well and do several light coats not 1 big coat. So when you do your wheels your first coat should be about 50% as in slightly transparent. 2nd coat 80% to 90%, by the 3rd coats you should have full coverage... after that 2-3 more coats. Wait about 45 mins to an hour after each coat depending on temp.

    If your short on time a heat guns is really useful mine looks perfect. Light coats and go over it with the heatgun until it is no longer glossy. I used a full can per rim, about 7-10 coats with really good coverage. I also took the rims of the car as well. I will post a close up of the rims to show how flawless they came out.

    ^ Go black... if that is to "Meh" go red the other colors just don't look good IMO.

    I got 2 cans in my garage im about to go do my wheels, they wont look as good since i have the junky 09 wheels... This damn thread gave me an itch, on second thought i might do the wifes Sportwargon since i will be driving it this summer.

    plastidipped mine, no complaints. opposite car color of course just thought id show you another option.

    i just ordered mine to do a black under coat and light copper overcoat with a clear.

    hatchaintwack-- what exactly do u have sprayed and how many coats?
