Lol, I don't recall ever being given free posts. I actually reset mine to 0 at one point. Tr and I put our counts back up much later on. Mine's probably still short of what it should be.

i think one of you might have done it to mess with him since he was always so concerned about his friggen post count. maybe you gave the posts to notEwrx or eagle c6, lol. Ralph got mad too
Post count is just a number that an admin can change at will; you don't have to give them to anyone or balance anything.
The only post count I've ever messed with (permanently) is Ralph's. He got to a point where he was posting hourly in every thread saying "Sup in here!" just to make his count go up. He was repeatedly asked to stop, but just wouldn't. I made the change to make a point, and wound up playing a part in driving him away from the forum. If I had it to do over again, I probably wouldn't. I didn't realize where his head was with all of that.
I have screwed with post counts to joke with friends, but always put it back in the end.
