Took delivery of my 2013 WRX World Rally Blue Premium Sedan on 11/2/2012 from Ramsey NJ Subaru (thanks Clayton!)
Just hit 600 miles today!
I tend to break my cars in the way I'm going to drive them, and have hit 4000-4500 RPM quite often in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears after 400-500 miles on the engine
-The car is getting stronger with the turbo kicking in quite nice after hitting 3000 RPM in the upper gears
-The exhaust is starting to sound really good, especially with that 'burping' sound when letting off the gas or down shifting
-Starting to hear the turbo whine more...awesome!
-The brakes no longer grind the first time I apply them when leaving a heated garage and driving down my 190 foot driveway in the cold
-I can now usually avoid the 'Subaru Shift Dance to Reverse' and can get from first to reverse without grinding, the first time
-Interior has remained scratch free regardless of how many times my daughter/friends get in and throw around their big purses and water bottles
-Heated Seats work awesome
-My Conti Extreme Dry Wet Snow Ultra High Performance All Season Tires have gripped fantastic in all weather conditions to date
The only thing I keep having to do...is go under the hood and tighten up the clamps from the air box to the intake...they're always loose after about 100 miles of driving.

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

My car is new as well - picked it up in October and it still puts a smile on my face. I don't have to hang back anymore and I get away from the arsewipes out there! It literally gives me physical pleasure just to d-r-i-v-e the thing ....

I am at 1200 and have noticed the exhaust seems to be slightly louder too. Maybe its all in my head.
Jealous! Mine is coming in next week ... sold my Camry on Saturday. I am car-less, and can't wait for my new car.
I've read that this is a problem on the newer gen models, but to have to tighten it every 100 miles seems a little ridiculous no? I just put about 100 miles on my '13 I picked up the other day and should probably check how tight/loose mine are. Also I've heard a number of people have had some intercooler boot come loose? Not quite sure where exactly that is but I guess people say their intake sounds a lot louder than before?
