Deer VS My STI

Straying from topic...but while running in Denver a while back, I came across 2 coyote on a trail. They were huge, compared to our eastern variety, and had no fear of me at all. Small dogs in that town need to stay alert.

I've seen a few large coyotes around here, and a handful of hybrids further up north. I'm dealing with a hungry bear at my house right now... time to fatten up on my trash before sleeping for a while. She's got two little ones that have been eating too, but I'd rather they don't make a habit of it.

OP, has insurance given you an estimate yet?

The body shop said it would buff right out too, should get it back by monday lol. I ended up with a Chevy Impala for a rental, what a toilet. Pretty big jump from an STI to this thing. Cant wait to get my car back. Was hoping to at least get something fun and semi sporty to drive like a Focus or something. This thing does not even get better gas mileage then I do with the STI

Bummer man, I had a Fiat 500 when my bugeye was in for bodywork, it was actually a pretty nifty little car to drive. The sport mode really livens that car up!

That would be awesome to get for a rental. I had a ford focus before and that was a fun car to drive. Almost bought one after that until I found the STI

Looks like it hit you. Deer seem to do that. It doesnt matter how careful you are when they dart into the road slamming you. Sounds like you got awesome insurance though.

Ive never actually "hit a deer" 3 of them have hit me, including this one lol. Progressive has been quite good to me over the years. They gave me $5,000 for my totaled ranger with over 120,000 miles on it which I used for a down payment on the STI and they have been really good through this. I just called my adjuster about damage on the side window to see if I can get that replaced.

I just got the car back today, looks great! I love that body shop new paint smell, better then a new car smell.
