    Raffle ideas

Piggybacking off this original thread: http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/off-to...er-thread.html

If you guys are wanting to do this, what we can do is run it through my website. What I can do is setup a contest product page for a certain dollar amount and we need X amount of people and then it will become sold out. Once its sold out then you guys can decide how you want to do the raffle or if you want me to pick it out of a hat literally I can do that.

Who ever wins, I'll ship it to your house and you get a part for a killer price.

One of the ideas was Shifter and Bushings...kartboy? COBB?

Any other ideas? Accessport? SF Intake?

Post them up and you guys can decide.

Also, by doing it on the site, if you order more than once (say 3 times), that means that your name will be in the raffle 3 times. 3 times more likely to get the item.

I'd like to see the accessport and cobb intake w/box on too. Definetely short shifter and front and rear bushing from either kartboy or cobb.
Maybe if we can get enough people/money in we can do bigger things like coilovers

I think this should be stickied.
That way new people can see we have this going on, and can see what's getting raffled off.

Adam and I talked about this, and we think in order to gauge interest, we ought to keep the first one cheap ($ value of prize in the $100-$300 range). This needs to appeal to a broad audience, and I think going straight to things like coilovers or intercoolers would exclude a lot of people. Of course, if the concept takes off, it can easily be scaled up to big ticket items.

    Here are my suggestions:
    *Cobb shifter
*A bushing package (shifter, diff, pitch stop, etc)
    *Endlinks!
    *3-port EBCS
    *Turbo inlet
*Brake package (pads, SS lines, fluids)
    *Headlight retrofit kit?

i think any of these would be a good idea for a first or beginning few raffles

    Agree with all of that
Definetely should not have expensive items immediately, just eventually it would be nice. It should be like the big prize of the month or something

    Well thats just boring lol

That may work but I think it would be more interesting for people to get items or at least the initial interest.

How about if I stick this in everyday impreza talk - it gets a lot of traffic.

like i said on the other thread, have like a bushings raffle one raffle seperate for each model, like 02-07 wrx, and 04-05 sti, then 06-07sti, and so on and so forth, just have it divided by the art specific for the year model, n matter what you'll clear your cost of part and shipping to get it out to the winner of each raffle

One raffle at a time is at least the way to start. And it should be an item, not a certificate IMO too.
