Are you tuned for that intake? If not your car is probably running rich(move fuel than necessary).

^ Agreed, 11.7 and 14.7 sound really off.

If you want good gas mileage stay out of the boost and have a lot less fun driving. You've got 2 trip ODOs that each reflect their own MPG. Reset your mileage, pay attention to your driving habits and use them to see how your driving habits affect your overall gas mileage. You will find that having fun=turbo activity= significantly less miles per gallon.

I average about 17.9, city. A period of heavy turbo activity nets me 15.9-16.7 mpg. Highway, 5th gear at 65 mph = high 20's.

still a new engine... both you and the car haven't figured each other out yet. I don't know where you're located but running the A/C will drag numbers down as well. Don't freak just yet, plus there is nothing you can really do about it just yet. If you're seriously worried try filling up and driving under 3000 rpm for that whooooole tank and see what happens. I'll bet 100 Internets that you're MPG's skyrocket

I've tried that before, however I go about 2 or 3 miles before I feel the need for speed!

Stage 1 i get on average 20mpg in my 09wrx. I babied the crap outta the car, accelerated easily, stayed under 3k, the whole thing, and only got about 2-3mpg better. That was not worth me being bored outta my mind driving...

Until the gas hike in CA ends I there needs to be a rule:
No mentioning of gas prices if you live in the other 47 continental US states.

I'm moving back to AZ. Still 87 is only 3.65. I'm sure premium isstill cheaper then the 4.08 regular here in CT. I have to pay 4.40 a gallon
    =/

Then I have a 100 mile commute to and from work each day
Talk about a kick to the nuts

I dont wanna sound like an ass here...but anyone with a 2012/13 should not be complaining about their gas expenditure. Prices have been about this high for a while now and you knew what your commute was gonna be. If you can't afford it, you shouldn't have gotten it.

    that is all...
