    Radio Install 2008 WRX

I recently purchased a Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD to replace the garbage stock HU. I have the standard HU without the tweeters, nav etc...I have a dash kit from Scosche that had to modified a bit to fit to my liking. The last piece of this job is wiring into the factory harness. Is there a wiring harness available. I have searched all over and I cannot seem to find a straight answer. The back of the stock HU has 3 plugs. 1 has about 10 wires. The other has about 4 or so and the last has 2. I believe one is for the AUX dock. If anyone has any info on this it would be great. Thanks in advance.

You have some soldering to do. First, go to Amazon and pick up the wiring harness for a 2008 Impreza. It should be about $10 max. Next, use the Pioneer harness included with the stereo and solder all of the corresponding wires together. They will be labeled with words on both harnesses. Use heat shrink at all of the solder points to protect against shorts.

Plug it all in and you're set.
