finally got to watching Born to Race.....I have to say, they did their homework (or more like the sponsors required some car knowledge)....
The 'send the punk to live with a washed up racer' thing I have to agree with now that I think about it....that is one way to try and teach 'keep it on the track, not the street'.
Things they got right:
When you keep getting caught street racing, then wreck when you were not, no one believes you.
It is not a good idea to turn boost up past 23lbs.
Red-necks who drag race and own a speed shop have kids that race amercn
What is the point of having a Porsche if it is not stick
It is better to run a little rich in a boosted civic
there are 'hot' girls in drama class that can't act for ****
What did we learn from this film:
That there is much more to life than racing....family, girls.....that is, unless you have a chance to beat the town d-bag jock in a race, then sell all your possessions worth anything and go to PepBoys, they will hook a brotha up with all the race bits you need, same day, to make your import able to run 9's....and the anti-racing hotty will help you install them.

a little bit of commentary, that ESX car is actually really nice ESX motor sports has an older model WRX that does a 1.9 second 0-60 and like a 9 second quarter mile.

Yeah, last 5 seconds or so had Ali punching, speed-bag style, a set of red trucknutz hanging from the 'worlds fastest subaru' and making a joke about the car having balls

I just watched that, I honestly have not watched it to the end before. That's kinda pathetic lol.
Finished watching both 200 mph and born 2 race. Born 2 race actually had me smiling at the end. A decent crappy movie, likeable characters and the black guy from Dexter to boot. 200 mph was so laughable it was hard to finish. Why did I finish watching it you ask? Because Claudia
