    Subaru heater matrix

    Oh my goodness. My beloved 52 plate wrx is in bits. Had a leak in the heater matrix. After new part but seem to be main Subaru dealer only. They want 350 + vat. For a small rad!! Any1 know anywhere that I don't have to bend over and take 1 for the lads

    Just take it to a radiator repair shop. As long as the end tanks are in reasonable shape they can easily recore it.

    That's where it is now mate. Just trying to have a plan b incase they say it can't be fixed. Thanks though mate.

    I gueess your three options are:

    New/Dealer/aftermarket
    Recore/rebuild
    Used/Breaker

    Had news back from dad people, no joy. Gotta go brand new from Subaru. 370.10!!! No quick fix for me. Thanks for advice though mate.
